Greetings on my second blog entry 💗 I am thrilled to dive back into the world of blogging and share a bit more about myself with all of you. This blog shares why I embarked on a career in PMU. I strongly believe that understanding the passion behind your PMU artist’s work adds a significant layer to the experience. So, without further ado, let’s embark on this journey together.
Chapter 1: The many transitions of a new mother
Becoming a new mummy is undoubtedly a life-altering experience. The sleepless nights, endless diaper changes, and the overwhelming love for your little one can be both joyous and challenging. For me, this phase in my life led to a realisation that it was time to take control of my career, reignite my passion, and inspire not only myself but also my daughter.
Returning to an administrative role after becoming a mother left me feeling unfulfilled and restless. The monotony of the nine-to-five grind was not aligning with my newfound perspective on life. It became evident that I needed a change – not just any change, but a purpose-driven shift that would allow me to put my creativity at the forefront.

One of the pivotal decisions I made was to invest in myself, which we all know can be hard to do for new mothers. I had always harboured the desire to retrain and acquire a skill. PMU presented itself as the perfect avenue to blend creativity with a tangible skill set. The prospect of transforming faces through artistry and precision resonated deeply with me.

My main creative inspiration has been the human anatomy, working with various mediums and perfecting their proportions. This career path just felt right because I get to continue working with my favourite theme; the face. The thought of enhancing features, boosting confidence, and leaving a lasting impression ignited a fire within me.

As a mother, I wanted more than just a job – I wanted a career that would make both myself and my daughter proud. By following my passion for PMU, I am not only setting an example of perseverance and dedication for her but also laying the foundation for a future filled with creativity and self-expression.

Becoming my own boss was a dream that PMU turned into a reality. The independence and flexibility that come with managing my own business are invaluable. Not only does it allow me to control my schedule, but it also enables me to financially support my family on my terms.
